Jackson Wild Summit Fellow 2022, NatGeo Explorer 2021 and Fulbright Scholar based in Peru with a Master's Degree in Documentary Film at the New York Film Academy. She also received the "Yvonne Hebert Award" from UN Women in 2017. Over a decade of experience working closely with indigenous and LGBTIQ+ communities in the Andean-Amazon region. His latest short film “Shirampari: Legacies of the River”, which tells the story of an Ashéninka boy in the Peruvian Amazon, premiered at festivals such as Sundance, Dok Leipzig, DOC NYC and Big Sky, winning the distribution award at the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and best short film in Santiago Wild.

Richard Misek

Richard Misek is a film-maker and scholar, whose work on the digital commons combines media production and audiovisual research, and activism. His films, the latest of which is A History Of The World According To Getty Images (2022), have screened at festivals including Sundance, Locarno, Hot Docs, and IDFA. He has led grant-funded research projects on public space in the metaverse (Unifob, 2022-23), digital access to arts and culture (AHRC, 2021-22), immersive nonfiction (AHRC, 2017-18), and the video essay (AHRC, 2015-16). He is a Professor in Screen Media at the University of Bergen in Norway.

Film maker, video artist, visual designer and sound composer, Ran Slavin’s work eludes single descriptors. Video artist, film maker, visual and sound designer, his work is at the intersection of electronic media and the use of digital technologies to explore alternative inter relations of visual cultures, digital realities, myth and fiction. He works with emerging technologies and new media exploring miscellaneous themes via experimental and narrative cinema, installation and various territories in deconstructed ambient and experimental electronic music. His work engages with technology both as a medium and theme, challenging and addressing materiality, immateriality, artificial reality and post-production, addressing expressions of the unreal as an emerging reality.
