For yet another summer, the courtyard of the Epi Kolono Theater transforms into an enchanting open-air cinema under the shade of its iconic plane tree. Driven by a deep passion for the arts, the Nama Ensemble—renowned for its successful theatrical productions, art exhibitions, and musical events—welcomes our cinematic journey for a special evening dedicated to contemporary short cinema. The Athens audience will have the opportunity to enjoy a curated selection of works that stood out for their artistic innovation and narrative boldness.

The International Juries.
Behind this year's awards stands a multifaceted panel of twenty distinguished professionals and internationally recognized artists from Singapore, Canada, France, India, Egypt, and Greece. Juries consisting of creators, strategists, and academics—including MarBelle (Directors Notes), Melvin Mak (Silver Cannes Lion), Matilda Tavelli (ANIMATOU), and architect Dionisis Sotovikis—foster a multi-layered dialogue, transforming the awards into a meaningful celebration of the seventh art.
The screening will be hosted by Eleftheria Komi, a multifaceted artistic presence who navigates with equal grace the worlds of cinema, literature, and the geometry of movement. A member of the Greek Film Academy, a special advisor to the Cinephil101 International Philosophy Film Festival, and an alternate board member of WIFT GR, Komi carries the distinction of a former professional dancer with the renowned Béjart Ballet Lausanne—an experience that infuses her cinematic presence with a certain rhythmic precision. Her diverse yet consistently eclectic filmography spans from the clinical, existential gaze of Michalis Konstantatos’s Luton and the vibrant dionysian energy of Tony Gatlif’s Djam, to Nikos Perakis’s Sirens at Land, Konstantinos Koutsoliotas’s Minore, and Georgis Grigorakis’s 45 Degrees, alongside international credits in Greek Nut, Vous Êtes Ici, and Three Farewells—rendering her the ideal host for an evening dedicated to celebrating the multi-layered narratives of contemporary cinema.

Román Ruberti Godoy
Director of the film “To See You Again”, in the Focus Argentina
Román Ruberti Godoy is a director and screenwriter trained at ENERC. He has worked on advertising campaigns in fashion and viticulture. Volver a verte, his first short film, opens a trilogy about rural childhoods and hope. In 2025, he served on the Mezcal Young Jury at FICG, representing ENERC and cinema from Argentina’s provinces. He is currently developing Piedra y camino, the second short film in the trilogy.
Gerardo
Director of the fiction film “The Cortege”
Filmmaker and teacher, graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Cinematography from the Faculty of Plastic and Audiovisual Arts at BUAP. I have collaborated on feature films, short films, documentaries, and music videos, performing various roles in the areas of production, art, and direction. I am passionate about accompanying creative processes and filmmaking, especially in local and community contexts in the states of Mexico. I am the director of the medium-length documentary Sentimiento Sonidero, which has been selected for various national and international film festivals and exhibitions. I also directed the short film El Cortejo, winner of five awards at the second edition of the Desafío Buñuel México rally, including Best Director. As art director, I participated in the short film Aguacuario, which was part of the Generations section at the 74th Berlinale and Critics' Week at the Cannes Film Festival.
